Snot Rocket and Super Detective Trailer

Unknown length - May 23, 2008

Before (and after) he started making popular and influential films in Japan, writer/director Yudai Yamaguchi (writer of VERSUS, director of CROMARTIE HIGH and BATTLEFIELD BASEBALL) spent his free time crafting this series of inspired, whacked-out and experimental vignettes. Loaded with slapstick galore, rock and roll, and a juvenile sense of humor, these shot-on-video shorts introduced a then-unknown Tak Sakaguchi (VERSUS, DEATH TRANCE) who, even at this early stage, was already exhibiting his star-power charisma and tongue-in-cheek approach that has since become his trademark. See where it all began for Tak and Yudai in this genre-busting, laugh-inducing collection. trailer edited by Christian Moran

In 2005, Kutless released their first worship album, Strong Tower. After recording Strong Tower, but before it was released, bassist Kyle Zeigler and drummer Kyle Mitchell left the band to form VERBATIM Records, a nationally distributed record label based in the Portland, Oregon area. They were replaced with bassist Dave Luetkenhoelter and drummer Jeffrey Gilbert, who both came from the recently broken-up Christian rock band Seven Places. Kutless also went on the Strong Tower tour that year. Later in 2005, Kutless began recording their fourth full-length album. The album, Hearts of the Innocent, was released on March 21, 2006. LYRICS

"Gone"

I told the girl that you should treat her like a lady and
She told me all the things you did and it was shady, man
She said that what you say and what you do are different things
While you were telling me that you were checking out them blingy rings

She said she's had enough
Well, it sounds to me like you're straight out of luck
And she said she's all through
And life's not blowin' her kisses thanks to you

I wanna know, wanna know what you were thinkin'
I can't imagine why it didn't even sink in
They say you never know what you got till it's gone
(Never know what you got till it's gone)
I wanna know, wanna know what you were thinkin'
I can't imagine why it didn't even sink in
They say you never know what you got till it's gone
(Never know what you got till it's gone)

She said she's had enough
So, it sounds to me like your still out of love
And she said you weren't true
And life's not blowin' her kisses thanks to you

She said it's gonna be alright
Cause God made a way through the pain and he opened her eyes
And she said you came crawling back
But after what you did to her she wouldn't have any of that

4 Track Radar (Part 2) by Popenic — Revver Online Video Sharing Network

Unknown length - Oct 19, 2007

4Track Radar is an independent music showcase that highlights different artists/bands and music scenes from around the globe. Each episode profiles a different city and how a specific genre flourishes within that city. Our goal is to target Los Angeles, London, New York, Nashville, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Sydney and other major worldwide cities. Within this digital age, artists are blazing their own path to success by fostering an extensive fan base without the backing of a major record label. Media vehicles like Myspace.com, along with independent and college radio, give fans access to a wide array of independent music. The pilot episode focuses on Indie Rock in Los Angeles. Breakthrough artists such as Tom Waits and Nick Cave have made their mark on this genre, thus paving the way for many acts that call this city home. Silver Lake and Echo Park host bands from all over the world. Fans that have seen it all and heard it all fiercely follow acts that have eluded the mainstream (purposefully or not). The discriminating ear searches for something exciting and fresh. With recent broadcasts from groundbreaking radio stations such as LA’s Indie 103.1, which has only scratched the surface of what this genre is, independently produced and distributed music is becoming more and more accessible to the LA audience each day. This station may not meet the criteria of the every discriminating fan, but it’s most certainly a funnel in which most can agree plays a wide range of artists, along with being partially responsible for breaking many local acts. 4Track Radar highlights five bands, each with their own distinctive sound: Run Run Run, Fu Manchu, The Plebz, Something For Rockets and Sugar In Wartime. Each voice their unique perspective of what it is like to live and thrive in the Indie Rock scene in Los Angeles and how they have perpetuated a following for their music.
